Where it Began
It was an ordinary Tuesday, the kind of afternoon that promises nothing in particular — and then she walked into the room and the whole hour rearranged itself. We had been circling the same orbits for months without ever quite colliding, and when we finally did, the collision was gentle and inevitable, like two leaves meeting in the same eddy of a slow-moving stream.
What followed was a year of long walks, longer letters, and the slow, surprised discovery that we had been waiting for one another all along.
